At 4:00 AM on Tuesday, December 11th PUVFD was activated to assist with a structure fire 203 Main St, in Youngstown's response area. Tower/Ladder 36 arrived on scene and firefighters placed ground ladders around the structure. Firefighters then set up the tower to provide aerial support and to scan for hot spots. Youngstown command determined that the fire was out and all crews worked on clean up and overhaul. Other fire companies assisting were Bradenville, Latrobe, Lloydsville, and Greensburg.

PUVFD was activated at 9:16 AM this morning for a two vehicle accident on Route 130 at Pleasant Unity Mutual Road near the Pleasant Unity Sewage Treatment Plant. Arriving firefighters found two vehicles had collided at the intersection and one driver required medical treatment.
