On behalf of the Officers and Members of Pleasant Unity Volunteer Fire Department, we wish to thank everyone for participating, supporting or attending the PUVFD 100th Anniversary Celebration held in conjunction with the Westmoreland County Firemen's Association 82nd annual convention. The entire event went off exactly as planned and the weather was beautiful.
There are so many people to thank for making this happen so just want to say THANK YOU to every business, resident, neighboring fire department, community volunteer, firefighter and their families for helping make this such a successful event. The community support we receive is outstanding and GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Pleasant Unity VFD's annual letter fund drive campaign is now underway. Firefighters folded and stuffed letters Tuesday evening and letters went out in the mail this morning. This letter drive is labeled as 2018-19 as we did not get the letter drive sent out in 2018.

JR. FIREFIGHTERS NEEDED
Junior Firefighters are needed!! The fire companies that comprise the Unity Township Fire Bureau have initiated a Junior Firefighter Recruitment Campaign at the Greater Latrobe Senior High School. Please watch the short video produced by Greater Latrobe students to help with our campaign by clicking the link below.
Any prospective Junior Firefighter or their parents who have any questions may contact Chief John Bacha at chief@puvfd.org.
